I've had many people ask me what I have been reading lately, so I thought I would blog it here! First off, know that I love supernatural books, and even better if they have a romance in them. That is mostly what catches my eye, but at times, I have been known to pick up a good mystery too!

(Diana Gabaldon's, Outlander Series)

I fell in love with Jamie the minute he showed up in the book. His relationship with Claire, and the way he presents himself had me begging for more. Who wouldn't when you have a highlander that oozes sex appeal and wears a kilt? Seriously, if you aren't reading this yet, get to it soon. Usually, I am able to put down a book and pick it up later, but with this, it had me staying up till the early hours of morning. I was and still am deprived of much needed sleep from this series. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance! The Scot Jamie had me melting with how he approaches things and how he treats Claire! One of my favorite series so far!

(J.R. Ward - The Black Dagger Brotherhood)

This is the series I am now reading and loving so far, since I took a break from Jamie and Claire in the above book.
Every book leaves me salivating for more, and that says something. It takes a lot to get my attention on books that delve into different characters with each book. While the brothers make appearances here and there along the series, you never get the rest of their story after the book they are featured in. While I itch for a few of them to be continued, I still enjoy reading each one and seeing how the brothers fit in each others world.

My favorite so far is book 1, called Dark Lover. Wrath is the king of his brothers, set to lead them, but his past haunts him to where he doesn't believe he can live up to his expectations. Beth is the half vampire daughter of one of his brothers, that is killed in the beginning. Wrath was asked before his death to protect her, so he does so out of obligation at first. But soon he falls in love with her, and has to decide if being with Beth is the best for his position. Their love story is full of surprises and it warmed my heart to read. There were a few "aww's" when I read this book.

 Lover Awakened *le sigh*
That is really all I can say about it. LOL! You have to read it to understand how much this man goes through to be with the woman that he finds love with. You will never read about a more romantic tale of Zsadist and Bella. This novel had me crying in sections like you wouldn't believe. Zsadist had emotional issues like you wouldn't believe, but they are not his fault. He is what you would call a loose cannon among all the brothers featured.
Z, has never been loved, never had the chance to feel what love could do to his soul. That is, until Bella comes into his life. The pull he feels towards her excites him as much as it scares him. I adored this book and added to my collection to read again.

(One Bite with a Stranger (book 6 in the other series) by Christine Warren)

I was given this recommendation by Linda, who most of you know as nycsnowbird on fanfiction.net, and I couldn't put it down.
This book is full of the sexy loving we all love to read, yet it also has that level of romance that makes your hear flutter. Reggie is just coming out of a relationship with her former boyfriend, and she isn't ready to date. But her friends decide to hook her up with this game they have between them called the Fantasy Fix. Where each woman writes down a fantasy and her friends have to find the man to fulfill it for the other. Well Reggie at first doesn't want to go along with it, so she writes down some of the most insane situations: alien abduction, the actual Elvis..etc. On her last paper she writes she wants to be seduced by a vampire. Little does she know there is some sort of vampire ball that happens in the town over, so of course her friends will use that to their advantage. She goes, and what she finds when she gets there isn't at all what she is expecting. A tall, dark and handsome man by the name of Dmitri *melts* There are other books in this series, and I am working on getting my copies to read them. I will keep you posted on my progress!
I also own this book now, since I read it over three times with my library copy.LOL! Figured it was being put to good use :P
If you have any recommendations for me to read, please let me know! Send me a shout out and tell me what your favs are.
Till next time...
